MOSAICS share the anthemic next single ‘Heaven Knows’, taken from the upcoming debut EP ‘A Guiding Lie’, due 24th April.

Produced alongside George Lloyd-Owen (Nick Cave, The Last Dinner Party, Yungblud), Mixed by Luie Stylianou (Judas Priest) and mastered by Grammy award winning engineer Matt Colton (The Cure, Arctic Monkeys, Fontaines D.C.), ‘Heaven Knows’ showcases the blend of guitar led bite, driving drums and indie-pop sensibilities. Bringing a blend of 90's rock revival with the shimmer of contemporary indie and melancholic, observational lyricism, the single is as comparable to Sam Fender as it is Kings Of Leon.

Heartfelt, melancholic and yet carrying an alternative, gritty undercurrent, the track balances the bands live energy with intimate songwriting to create a track which is both emotionally attuned, yet expressive and raw.

Speaking about the single, Stu Smith (guitarist and co-songwriter) explains: "This song was written for someone very close to me who is going through a tough time with their mental health and has been for a while now. 'Heaven Knows' explores, from a first person perspective, what it's like to live in a society where it appears like so many people are living a seemingly 'better' and more fulfilling life than you through social media. It's truly heartbreaking to see someone believe they are a burden on others because of their personal struggles and I feel like it's so important to always remind them that they are loved."

Continuing to talk about the upcoming EP, Stu adds: “We really wanted to create an EP we felt was the sum of all our parts, songs that can stand the test of time that we can look back upon in years to come and still be proud of. Above all, we strive to make music that anyone can connect with on a personal level, no matter their age or circumstance, attaching their own story to the lyrics and themes we write about."

"When Owen and I sit down with an acoustic guitar and a notepad (and if we're feeling fancy, the odd bottle of red wine), the gates are open and we're at our most vulnerable. It's a deeply cathartic and healing process - one that helps us to channel our reflections not only on our own mental health and that of our peers, but of the entire state of the world we're living in right now."

MOSAICS have been building a strong momentum, showcasing a sound which is both commercially accessible and musically mature. Having gained a string of TV sync placements on the likes of ITV's This Morning and Channel 4's Sunday Brunch, Killing Eve, Obsession, Marriage & The Outlaws, MOSAICS recent single 'Different People' with James McCartney saw the band build a feverish hype. Having sold out multiple headline shows including a stand out at Camden Assembly, MOSAICS reached finals of the Isle of Wight New Blood competition ahead of 5000 artists before heading on a sold out UK tour with Reverend and the Makers. With growing press support across Clash, Notion, Ones To Watch, Earmilk, Louder Than War, Gigslutz and Atwood Magazine, the band continue on their upward trajectory.

“Great songwriting, delivered with real empathy” - Clash

“An emotionally charged track that continues their ascent in the UK indie scene” - Earmilk

“Unmistakably – tight, bold, and brimming with heart.” - Atwood Magazine
