PR: Mongstar Releases Uplifting Anthem "Stress Free"
UK-based Saint Lucian artist Mongstar is set to release his uplifting new single “Stress Free” on 30 September 2026.
Blending soca, dancehall and contemporary Caribbean crossover sounds, "Stress Free" marks the beginning of an ambitious new international chapter for an established artist whose career has already included award-winning music, recognised Caribbean releases and live performances in both Saint Lucia and the UK.
“Stress Free” showcases Mongstar’s distinctive fusion of Caribbean rhythm, melodic dancehall and feel-good crossover energy. Produced by Rhys and recorded at SS2 Studios in Southend-on-Sea, it is Mongstar’s first UK-produced single and the opening release in a new programme of original music.
The song is rooted in Mongstar’s own experiences of surviving violence, rebuilding his life and choosing gratitude and peace despite everything he has endured. Its lyrics reflect his journey from Saint Lucia to the UK, his determination to move forward and the enduring connection he feels to his Caribbean home.
Rather than dwelling on hardship, “Stress Free” delivers a positive and infectious message: life is too valuable to surrender to fear, negativity or unnecessary pressure.
“Stress Free is about choosing peace after everything you’ve survived. It’s about giving thanks, moving forward and protecting your energy, while never forgetting where you come from. I want people to hear it, feel good and remember that life is there to be lived.” – Mongstar
