London based singer/writer/producer Imara is set to release their captivating bold Pop/Soul/Rock anthem “Boulevard” on April the 11th.
Imara is an independent singer, songwriter and producer from England/Australia, composing music from my bedroom. She creates music that moves the spirit, brings the vibe and empowers listeners from the inside out. She recently released her debut single “Frequency” and is currently crafting her upcoming EP - a body of work that blends UKG, Dance, Jazz, R&B, Soul, Indie and Rock into a sound that feels both nostalgic and fresh.
Imara's journey has taken her from busking and gigging since 17 to national television appearances on All Together Now (2018) and Australian Idol (2024), alongside earning her Highest Certificate in Music Performance.
Her upcoming single “Boulevard” blends melodic guitar energy with smooth soul textures and subtle nods to the ‘80s for a bold genre crossing sound. With influences from Prince, Whitney Houston and Oasis this track is cinematic, expansive and emotive. written/composed and produced by Imara.
The track was inspired by a Period of deep self-reflection While creating my Ep ‘Wounds and Armour.’ I realised that Strength could mean leaning on people and it comes from connection. The song explores the beauty of needing people friends, family and the music itself.

There’s a spiritual undercurrent to it, an awareness that everything Is temporary. It touches on departure and impermanence, but instead of feeling heavy, it honours the sacredness of those fleeting moments. The message is about embracing love and presence while we have it and recognising that relationships are what truly lights up our world.
“Strength isn’t something you build alone. This song came from understanding that I need people, I need love, I need music & connection. Every moment is sacred. I hope when people here it they feel energy and are reminded how powerful love is.” – Imara
