‘Emergency’ is the first single to support the release of Andy’s new album ‘Quiet Revolution in March next year. The track blends the melodic storytelling of Neil Young with the timeless harmonies of The Beatles, wrapped in a modern rock/pop/country production. Driven by electric guitars, warm vocal layers, and a nostalgic yet fresh vibe, it speaks to listeners who crave authenticity and emotional depth. Written and recorded in Lewisham, UK, it captures the spirit of classic songwriting with a contemporary twist.
On this single Andy plays guitar/piano/bass/organ and is joined by Paul Challenger form Andy’s live band on lead guitar. As Shindig magazine has so artfully expressed in its review of Andy’s album album ‘Poetry in Exile’ (2024), it’s difficult to categorise Andy’s music, it’s eclectic, enigmatic and distinctive. It’s British, but is the same time is compelling and firmly rooted in classic songwriting from The Beatles to The Verve. Hence, quite possibly one could argue that he’s seeking a renaissance in great British songwriting or in the Britpop genre, but equally you can hear the voices of Dylan and Bowie, mavericks and heroes, renegades and imposters seeking to create themselves in timeless performance and song.
"A literate craftsman and his songs are artfully arranged. He transcends his influences and has a distinctive voice with much to say"
- Shindig Magazine
You can catch Andy performing with his band around London and the UK where he enchants audiences with his four-octave voice and piano/guitar playing. He is playing Blackheath Concert Halls on July 10th 2026 and is touring from March to April next year to support the release of ‘Quiet Revolution.
