Grete is an artist defined by evolution. Unrestricted by genre or expectation, her work reflects a commitment to emotional honesty and creative growth.
Originally from Lithuania and now based in the UK, Grete first gained national attention as a finalist on The Voice Lithuania in 2018 before relocating to Manchester to study at the Royal Northern College of Music. It was there that she began shaping her own identity as a songwriter, moving beyond performance into purposeful, self-led artistry.
Her debut EP Grey (2024) introduced a moody, jazz-tinged sound rooted in vulnerability and reflection. Rather than staying put, Grete expanded her palette with Cry in Colour, embracing brighter textures and R&B-influenced pop while retaining emotional depth.
That evolution continues with PARADE, a bold step into alternative rock driven by heavy guitars and commanding vocals. The track reinforces a recurring theme in Grete’s work: self-acceptance without compromise. Alongside a growing international profile, including selection for Lithuania’s pre-Eurovision competition, Grete is now exploring music in her native language, with further releases planned for 2026.
