ROB.GREEN’s musical journey began long before studios and stages, it started on his Grandma Eudora’s kitchen table. “She used to stand me up and get me to sing to her,” he recalls. That early encouragement became a lifelong thread. Even after she passed, singing around the house helped ROB.GREEN feel close to her. Later, high school poetry turned into songwriting, guitar chords followed, and his voice found a new outlet - one that would never stop growing.
His break into the industry was unplanned. A house party performance with a friend caught the attention of someone who would become his first manager. The very next day, he was asked to sign to Outlaw Records, just after completing his university finals. “They asked for my graduation date,” ROB.GREEN laughs, “and the day after, I was in a meeting listening to a pitch.” That partnership led to three studio EPs and helped shape the independent, self-assured artist he is today.
2020 marked a turning point: ROB.GREEN went fully independent, reclaiming creative control and starting his own production company, Eudora Music Productions, a tribute to the grandmother who first believed in him. “Whitney Houston once said if you don’t know who you are in this industry, others will decide for you. Going independent gave me my voice back.”
Since then, ROB.GREEN has produced headline tours, released his most popular music to date, and booked support tours.. all on his own terms.
Blending heartfelt soul with pop energy, ROB.GREEN’s music draws comparisons to Tracy Chapman, Aloe Blacc, and Bruno Mars; artists who, like him, value vocal richness and emotional honesty. His work is soulful and raw, packed with big harmonies and lyrics that cut straight to the heart.
His creative process? “It’s different every time,” he says. “Sometimes it starts with a hook, sometimes just a feeling.” Collaborators like Tom Prendergast and Cassell the Beatmaker help shape his ideas into genre-defying tracks like Sleeping on My Own and the ferocious Jungle Child, his highest charting release to date.
More than anything, ROB.GREEN wants to be known as an artist who delivers live. His recent UK tour showcased not just his musical talents, but also the inclusive, joyful spaces he creates. “Every venue said the same thing - how wonderful everyone in the audience was to each other,” he says, beaming. “Dancing together, consoling strangers, showing love - it felt like a rare, glorious kind of togetherness.”
That energy ROB.GREEN gives off onstage is no accident. It’s rooted in his belief that real emotional connection is the point of it all. Whether writing a dancefloor banger or a vulnerable ballad, he insists it’s always personal. “People can tell when it’s real,” he says.
He remembers performing Blue, a song about a rough patch in his 20s, and the stranger who wordlessly hugged him after the set. “He didn’t say much. Just ‘thank you.’ But I’ll never forget that moment.”
Next up? ROB.GREEN is building his debut album and gearing up for a new tour. After the explosive energy of Jungle Child, he's feeling more aligned than ever. “Something’s clicking,” he says. “I just want to ride this wave and see where it leads.”
He’s also focused on one big goal: becoming a full-time touring artist. “To be travelling and performing my music all over and putting on killer shows in well sold venues is really the ultimate goal.” And he’s not afraid to leap toward it.
